QStory uses an invite-only authentication system based on passkeys. When you create an account, we collect and store:

• Your 8-character alphanumeric passkey (stored securely in your device's secure storage)
• Your username and optional bio (up to 160 characters)
• Profile photos or avatars you upload from your photo library
• Push notification tokens (device tokens used to deliver notifications)
• Stories you publish, comments you post, bookmarks you save, and likes you give

We do not collect your email address. Authentication is handled entirely through invite-only passkeys.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the QStory service
• Authenticate your account using your passkey
• Display your published stories, profile, and comments to other users
• Send push notifications about activity relevant to you

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. Passkeys are stored in your device's secure storage and are never transmitted in plain text. We use trusted third-party infrastructure providers to host our services.

Third-Party Services

QStory uses the following third-party services:

• Expo Push Notification Service — to deliver push notifications to your device

We do not use any analytics or tracking services.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your stories and personal data

Children's Privacy

QStory is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.
